Workshop on SOTIF and functional safety concept for ADAS and automated driving

2019-08-30 @ 13:00 - 17:00

Free

It has already been an agreement that ISO 26262 is insufficient for the functional safety of ADAS and automated driving systems due to the introduction of AI into automotive embedded systems. As a compensation, SOTIF finally released its first version early this year. The purpose of this workshop is to collect safety experts from OEMs, suppliers and academia to discuss on the following questions.
How does SOTIF compensate ISO 26262?
How should we adopt SOTIF to improve the functional safety concept of ADAS and automated driving systems in terms of architecture and development methodology? Is SOTIF enough? How should SOTIF be improved?
