The 7th
Scandinavian Conference on System and Software Safety are proud to
announce the first keynote speaker – Nick McDonald, Director for the
Centre for Innovative Human Systems at Trinity College Dublin.
Nick has many years of research on safety in aviation, road transport, emergency services, manufacturing,
construction and health care. He will give a talk about System
Lifecycle Operational Governance and address that the current technology
revolution is quite unlike the last: almost universal connectivity can
transform operations, delegating functions across the system. Meaningful
content can make complex operations more intuitive, easier to learn.
Massive data enables ever more sophisticated quantitative and
qualitative analytics and extends the classic automation of increasingly
‘intelligent’, but routine, functions.
